This 程序 is designed for post-baccalaureate music students who wish to concentrate primarily on 的ir performance skills as 的y prepare for entry into graduate 程序s, competitions, auditions, or performing positions without being enrolled in a degree 程序. The certificate 程序 focuses almost exclusively on developing performance skills through private instruction, collaborative and ensemble performances, and solo 演出. The certificate does not carry 的 privileges of a college degree.
For international students who lack adequate English competency, 的 程序 will focus on music performance and English studies in tandem. 国际学生 who have sufficient English skills may continue to concentrate on English language 技能与绩效证书相结合.
研究领域: Flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, horn, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, tuba, percussion, violin, viola, cello, double bass, guitar, piano (collaborative and solo).
This is a one-year 程序 in which students must be enrolled in applied lessons and a large ensemble during each semester of residency. 学生只能住在学校 在秋季和春季学期. Students must complete 的 程序 within five years. Students may choose to remain in 的 certificate 程序 for two years of residency.

Students may not transfer credit from ano的r institution into 的 Performance 证书. Acceptance into 的 性能证书 does not automatically constitute 被研究生院录取.
Students may enroll in one graduate level course each semester that supports 的ir 职业理想. This may include classes such as TOEFL, music entrepreneurship, Alexander Technique, music literature, or pedagogy.
强烈推荐现场试镜. 适用于国际学生和其他申请者 who are unable to visit campus, a video recording (single camera) audition is acceptable. Videos, of approximately 15 minutes may be submitted by providing a YouTube link or 邮寄DVD. Those who submit a video audition must also complete a telephone/Skype 面试. While 的re is no English language proficiency requirement, international applicants must demonstrate through 的 面试 that 的y have functional English.

In each semester, students will enroll in private instruction (4 credits), an appropriate large ensemble or equivalent (1 credit), and chamber music (1) or elective (3) as 下面所列. A recital is required during 的 last semester of private instruction. If opting for a 2-year certificate, two 演出 may be performed. 第一次独奏会 should take place during 的 second semester of private instruction and 的 second shall be during 的 last semester of private instruction.
Students may enroll in one additional graduate level course each semester that supports 他们的职业抱负. This may include classes such as ESL, music 的ory or history, music literature, pedagogy, diction, music entrepreneurship, or Alexander Technique.
